IONIA COUNTY, Mich. — Law enforcement in Ionia County is asking the community to be on the lookout for a man missing for more than a week.

Joseph Daniel Dean, 41, left his house on Bluewater Highway (M-21) in Easton Township on Nov. 10, 2024, and his family hasn't heard from him since, the Ionia County Sheriff's Office said.

He takes medication for schizophrenia and he has not been taking his prescribed meds, authorities said.

At this point, efforts to find him have not been successful so deputies are asking the public's help.

Dean stands about 5'9" tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information that could help bring him home, you're asked to call the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office at 616-527-5737 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
