KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) was on the scene of a crash Sunday morning when a car hit KDPS Engine Two.
Two KDPS vehicles were damaged in the crash and two officers were inside the engine when it was hit.
One officer was injured, the other officer and the driver of the vehicle that truck the engine were not injured.
The KDPS asked everyone to "please remember winter driving safety and slow down on icy roads. Remember to give emergency workers extra space, especially during winter weather."
I-94 westbound near Sprinkle was down to one lane, KDPS is investigating the crash.
