KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — One person was shot and killed Sunday night during a confrontation with a neighbor.
Deputies with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office say the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. at a home on E VW Avenue. Neighbors had reportedly been arguing when one neighbor shot the other.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect has been taken into custody and is now lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
There is no threat to the public, according to deputies.
