KCSO publishes tip line to aid in search for missing 17-year-old girl

KCSO said Penelope "Penny" Wise left her family home on foot near Morley Park in Cedar Springs around 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office has published a tip line to help them find a missing 17-year-old girl.

KCSO said Penelope "Penny" Wise left her family home on foot near Morley Park in Cedar Springs around 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

She's 5 feet tall, weighs around 120 pounds and has blonde hair and braces.

A new surveillance video obtained by investigators from Rockford Park Drive near the White Pine Trail shows Penny wearing a pink tank top and shorts. The video was from May 31 around 6 p.m.

KCSO said they don't have any information that foul play has occurred and at this time they believe she intentionally walked away from her home.

However, due to the length of time she's been gone and no sightings of her, KCSO and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Anyone with tips, pictures, or videos can upload them to the tip line here or call the KCSO Investigative Division at (616) 632-6125.
