FOUND SAFE | Police say 84-year-old Kentwood woman has been found safe after going missing Monday

​Devries suffers from dementia. Officials said she also has a pacemaker. She reportedly left her home on foot around 1:00 p.m.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — Police say a woman who went missing Monday afternoon has been found safe as of early Tuesday morning. 

Monday night the Kentwood Police Department had released it was looking for a missing 84-year-old woman. The missing woman, Alice Devries, lived in the area of the 5100 Block of Southglow Ct. near 52nd/Eastern.

Devries suffers from dementia. Officials said she also has a pacemaker. She reportedly left her home on foot around 1:00 p.m. Monday and had not been seen since. The Kentwood Police Department said they were told this is not typical behavior for her.

Kentwood Police offered no further information about how or where Devries was found.
