KENTWOOD, Mich. — Just days after two young girls were reported missing from Kentwood police have reported they were located Friday morning.
Police said Samantha Ramirez-Garcia and Nitza Guadalupe Ramirez-Garcia never showed up for school Tuesday morning.
Wednesday night around 8:20 p.m. Kentwood police shared an update that said they did not believe the girls were in danger.
Samantha is 15 years old and Nitza is 10 years old. According to neighbors, the two are sisters and live near Victoria Avenue and 48th Street, about a 20-minute walk to Kelloggsville High School.
Police said now that the girls have been found they are working to reunite them with family.
