HOLLAND, Mich. — Magic at the Mill is returning for a third year of holiday cheer at Windmill Island Gardens in Holland.
Guests of all ages are welcome to come and see the grounds lit up and decorated for the season from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7, 13 and 14, and 20 and 21.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Organizers said tickets must be purchased in advance online and they're expected to sell quickly.
"We've had two wonderful years of Magic at the Mill. We expect this year to be the biggest one yet both in terms of crowds and lights," said Windmill Island Gardens Manager Matt Helmus.
The event's main feature is a "tulip field" of 1,000 LED blossoms that light up and blink along to holiday music.
In addition to this, there will be numerous holiday attractions for visitors to enjoy.
The carousel will be lit up and running for children to ride.
On each day except Dec. 6, children can meet and take photos with Sinterklaas, Santa Claus's Dutch predecessor, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Organizers said there will be lots of opportunities for festive photos, with holiday greenery set up throughout the gardens.
There will be an antique Dutch street organ filling the nights with old and modern holiday tunes.
If visitors get hungry, there will be a surplus of European-style snacks available from Waffle Stix and Nelis' Dutch Village.
The Island's gift shop will also be open for holiday shoppers.
As the event is outdoors, guests are encouraged to dress for the weather.
