ID=27188427WHITE CLOUD, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Newaygo County man has been charged in connection with the death of Natallya Rich.

The Newaygo County Prosecutor authorized the charge of concealing the death of an individual for Matthew Bradley. The charge was made official in court Thursday morning.

According to court documents, Bradley said he took a nap with four-month-old Natallya, and when he woke up, she was dead. He then hid her body in the basement. The body was found in a car seat under a blanket in the basement of a home on Swain Street.

Police also described finding drug paraphernalia in the home. Bradley admitted to taking meth, morphine, and other drugs.

Bradley has a felony case pending in Newaygo County Circuit Court for carrying a concealed weapon. He was charged Thursday morning in that case and bond was set at $100,000.

Bradley was released from prison in April, 2013, after serving two years on a home invasion conviction in Newaygo County. Police say he has a history of drug problems.
