GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man is dead after a stabbing in Grand Rapids on Sunday afternoon, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
GRPD said officers were called to the 800 block of Alpine Avenue NW around 3:20 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Officers said while they attempted life-saving measures on the man who was stabbed, he died at the scene.
A suspect is in custody and the incident is currently under investigation by the Major Case Team, according to GRPD.
