41-year-old man's death ruled as suspicious by Mecosta County Sheriff's Office

Deputies and detectives are currently investigating the death, which happened on Wednesday morning in the 5000 block of Truman Road in Fork Township.

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — The death of a 41-year-old Barryton man is being ruled as suspicious by the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office

Deputies and detectives are currently investigating the death, which happened on Wednesday morning in the 5000 block of Truman Road in Fork Township. 

The investigation into what caused his death is ongoing and interviews are being conducted. 

The Sheriff's office is being assisted in the investigation by the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police Crime Lab, Mecosta County EMS, Mecosta County MEI, Osceola Probate Court and Reed City Police.
