WALKER, Mich. — The B-2 Outlet store on Alpine Avenue in Walker has closed. Now, we know what will be replacing it.

Mel Trotter has announced they will open a thrift store at that location. They've planned a soft opening for July 1. However, there is no official date for a grand opening yet.

The thrift store will offer gently used clothing, furniture and other household goods to those in need of affordable items.

"All of the proceeds from this and our other Thrift Stores go towards financially sustaining the work we do at Mel Trotter Ministries to serve individuals experiencing hunger and homelessness," said Dan Kotman with Mel Trotter Ministries.
