GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Detroit classic is coming to West Michigan.
Leo's Coney Island is opening a new location in Grand Rapids, at the Cascade Crossings complex on 28th Street.
Leo's specializes in coney dogs, as well as Greek dishes.
It'll be 4,400 square-feet, including an outdoor patio.
"People venture to Detroit, or to the Detroit airport to have Leo's, and it's a staple in that community -- and I hope [with] the opening of the 28th Street store it will become a staple of West Michigan, as well," said Mark Ansara of Colliers International.
Leo's is scheduled to open in late July.
It's expected to bring 50 jobs to the area.
