A Grand Rapids landmark has been reinstalled; the tire swing near city hall is back.
The sculpture from which it hangs has been in place for more than 70 years outside of the Ford Federal Building, downtown near Calder Plaza.
Two kids were hurt in September of 2013, when the swing fell.
Since then, it's been re-designed, and new parts were added to the swing Tuesday afternoon.
It's now open to the public.
