If you have ever held a beer in one hand, and an ax in the other, here's bad news.
Hub Stadium, in Auburn Hills, known for bar bites and a football-bowling style game (known as “bombowling”), has had to implement new policies after the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) found that consuming alcohol and throwing axes isn’t necessarily the safest thing to do.

A press release said Hub Stadium posed “significant concern” to MLCC, which then placed a one-day suspension of its liquor license on Sept. 10 so the company could have time to make “numerous structural” changes. What those changes are, exactly, are not clear. Hub Stadium could not be reached by phone or email.
What startled MLCC about Hub Stadium’s ax-throwing activities were many, to say the least. Investigators observed patrons consuming alcohol while in the throwing area, no limit on how many axes could be thrown, people jumping out of the way to avoid being hit by an ax and no strict enforcement of those wandering in and out of the throwing zones. Not to mention patrons wearing open-toed shoes while in the ax-throwing area.
