PIERSON, Mich. — Subzero temperatures on Wednesday has halted trash and recycling pickup for a number of communities throughout west and northern Michigan.
Republic Services announced the move Wednesday afternoon. They will not be operating for the safety of drivers and customers.
There will be no trash or recycle services on Wednesday or Thursday. Trash and recycling will be collected on the next regularly scheduled service day.
