Well, nevermind.

Michigan already has a plethora of beer options - and it looked like it would get another major one today in Yuengling - but it's going to Arkansas instead.

D.G. Yuengling & Son, which touts itself as "America's Oldest Brewery," hinted earlier today on social media that it planned on selling beer in a new state and offered four options: Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas and Texas.

🎉 Good news Yuengling fans! 🎉We’re going to start selling beer in a new state... but where? #yuengling #lager #michigan #kentucky #arkansas #texas

Given that it named all four states, the possibility of all four states getting Yuengling seemed in play.

But Yuengling said later in the day that Arkansas was the lucky state, the 21st state to get Yuengling. Indiana became the 20th state last March.

There's no word yet on when - or if - Michigan will get Yuengling.

Without further ado, we're excited to welcome Arkansas to Lager Country! Cheers! 🍻#yuengling #lager #lagercountry #arkansas pic.twitter.com/SeJNoHagvv

Yuengling, based in Pottsville, Penn., is one of the largest breweries in the United States, producing more than 2.5 million barrels of beer throughout the country. It's best known for its traditional lager, but also offers a light lager, a "Black & Tan" and a handful of other brews.

Many beer enthusiasts in Michigan have clamored to bring Yuengling to Michigan. One Facebook page, called "Bring Yuengling to Michigan," has more than 2,600 likes.
