KCSO: Missing Muskegon man found safe

Deputies said he went missing on Thursday around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Cascade Road and Forrest Hills Avenue in Grand Rapids Township. He has since been found.

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — UPDATE 5/18/2024: The Kent County Sheriff's Office said Cardell Parker was found safe.

The Kent County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding 31-year-old Cardell Parker from Muskegon. 

Deputies said he went missing on Thursday around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Cascade Road and Forest Hill Avenue in Grand Rapids Township. 

Parker is described as being an African American man who's 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs between 135 and 150 pounds. He has a beard, mustache and thinning hair. 

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an unknown blue and red logo on the front, black pants and yellow and white Nike Air Jordan shoes. 

Deputies said he may be confused about his surroundings and may not be communicative. 

Anyone with information on where he is or who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 or Detective Holbrook at (616) 632-6488.
