Car, motorcycle crash in Kentwood leaves motorcyclist dead

The Kentwood Police Department told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that lifesaving measures were attempted on the motorcyclist.

KENTWOOD, Mich. — Just before 3 p.m. on Monday, the Kent County Sheriff's Office joined officers of the Kentwood Police Department while responding to a serious crash.

The crash involved a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of 60th Street and Wing Avenue.

The Kentwood Police Department told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that lifesaving measures were attempted on the motorcyclist. However, they passed from their injuries shortly after.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kentwood Police Department at 616-656-6580. Or, anonymous tips can be submitted through Silent Observer at 616-774-2345 or SilentObserver.org.
