WALKER, Mich. — A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car in Walker overnight.
The crash happened around 12:16 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Wilson Avenue SW and Butterworth Drive SW. A motorcycle had been traveling on Wilson Avenue when a car turned onto Wilson and hit the motorcyclist.
Investigators say the car failed to yield to the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Grandville man, was seriously injured. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old Grandville man, was not injured.
