ROCKFORD, Mich. — A motorcyclist is in the hospital on Friday after a car pulled out in front of him, according to Michigan State Police.
Grand Rapids post troopers responded to a crash between a car and a motorcycle around 3:35 p.m. on Belding Road NE near Ramsdell Drive NE.
According to troopers, a 28-year-old Rockford woman was traveling southbound on Ramsdell Drive NE and didn't see the 60-year-old Rockford man traveling eastbound on his motorcycle. The woman pulled in front of him, causing him to crash into the side of her car, troopers said.
The woman wasn't injured but the man was taken to a local hospital with injuries, troopers said.
MSP said as the weather warms up it's an important reminder to be more cautious and aware of motorcyclists on the roadway.
