MSP: Troopers fire shots in Kalamazoo

MSP said none of the troopers or the suspect involved were injured.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Shots were fired by Michigan State Police troopers on Wednesday afternoon. 

According to MSP, around 3 p.m. troopers assigned to the Fifth District Fugitive Team fired shots in the 2200 block of Regent Street. 

MSP said none of the troopers or the suspect involved were injured. 

The incident is still in the preliminary stage of investigation and MSP said more details will be shared soon.
