OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Three people were injured in a crash in Holland Township on Sunday morning, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a two-car crash at US-31 and James around 8:55 a.m.
According to the investigation, OCSO said a 2023 Toyota Rav4 was driving south on US-31 and ran a red light at James. The Toyota then crashed into a 2013 Infinity that was driving west on James.
OCSO said the passenger of the Infinity, a 35-year-old Holland woman, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be taken out by Holland Township Fire/Rescue crews. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Infinity, a 36-year-old Holland man, was also injured and sought his own treatment, OCSO said.
Deputies said the driver of the Toyota, a 57-year-old Holland man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One lane of US-31 and the westbound lanes of James were closed for cleanup but are now back open.
