MUSKEGON, Mich. — A man is dead after a shooting in Muskegon on Saturday night, according to the Muskegon Police Department.
Around 10 p.m. officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1600 block of Beidler Street.
When police arrived, they said they found a 48-year-old Muskegon Heights man who was shot in the upper body.
Police said the man died at the scene.
Detectives from MPD are investigating the shooting.
Police said the shooting appeared to be the result of a dispute at a party.
