MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — One person is dead after a fire Monday evening in Muskegon Heights.
Firefighters were called to a house near the intersection of W. Broadway Avenue and Temple Street around 6:30 p.m.
Muskegon Heights Fire Chief Christopher Dean said the man who died was not the homeowner but staying with the owner as a guest.
When crews arrived the fire was so large additional units were requested from Norton Shores and Muskegon.
Currently the cause of the fire is under investigation.
