MUSKEGON, Mich. — A young boy was sent to the hospital Tuesday night after a dog bit him.
The Muskegon Police Department told 13 ON YOUR SIDE the boy suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The dog was taken into custody and is under quarantine, as required by the county health department.
Authorities said they know who the dog's owner is, and they've talked to that person. A criminal investigation is underway, police said.
