Kevin Bluhm will continue to wear tether

Kevin Bluhm, the cousin of convicted killer Jeffrey Willis, will continue to wear a tether after a recent ruling by a judge.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Kevin Bluhm, the cousin of convicted killer Jeffrey Willis, will continue to wear a tether after a recent ruling by a judge. 

Bluhm pleaded no contest to being an accessory after the fact of murder in November. That charge was related to the Jessica Heeringa case.

Last year the sentenced Bluhm to one year in jail and five years probation with a GPS tether.

A recent hearing was held to see if Bluhm must continue to wear the tether and Muskegon County Circuit Judge William C. Marrietti decided since Heeringa's body has never been found, wearing a tether would be in the court's best interest.
