NORTON SHORES, Mich (WZZM) -- A Muskegon County man will go to trial in the shooting of a man during a hotel room robbery last November.
Prosecutors say Dalvin Hapson, 20, was after $11,000 in drug money when he entered a man's Norton Shores hotel room. The victim was shot four times before he escaped the room and got help from the hotel staff.
Hapson's girlfriend, Alecia Knapp, 27, also faces trial for her part in the robbery. Prosecutors say she talked the victim into opening his locked hotel room door.
