MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — The Muskegon community is mourning the loss of a 24-year-old woman killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon.
Loved ones identified her as Searra Lucas.
"She was a loving wife, wonderful mother of 3, beautiful daughter, fantastic sister, awesome friend, and I'm sure more to countless others," GoFundMe organizer Linda Otey said.
Otey said Lucas was on her way to E & A Grocery on Apple Avenue to get drinks for her children when she collided with a semi truck hauling gravel.
Lucas died from her injuries, and Michigan State Police said the semi truck driver went to the hospital for minor injuries.
The fundraiser organizer said the money raised will help out Lucas' husband and three children under the age of four with memorial, medical and other expenses.

Chatel said his heart breaks for the victim's family.
"I'm praying for you guys, it's really tough because whenever you lose somebody like that it's really, really hard," said Chatel.
