MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon residents will have another chance to share their thoughts on a massive development at Windward Pointe.
The city announced Thursday that they will be repeating a hearing about the proposed development on Monday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. after they discovered an error in the public notice from the first meeting.
This second hearing will give residents another chance to share their thoughts during public comment either in person or in writing.
"The applicant will be submitting the final plans on Friday and we will have them on the website next week. You can view them by going to the City's website and clicking on the Connect Muskegon link at the top of the page. Public comments can be made at the meeting or be mailed to planning@shorelinecity.com," said Muskegon Planning Director Mike Franczak.
"The plans will include revisions based on some of the conditional approvals stated in the last meeting. I will present those changes at the meeting. The Planning Commission will be voting on these updated plans.”

The repeated hearing will not include the full presentation from the developer like in the original hearing.
After the repeated hearing, it will go to the City Commission on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 pm., not the original planned date of October 24.
