3 injured in Muskegon shooting; all expected to survive

The victims are not cooperating with the investigation, police say. All three are expected to survive.

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Three people were injured in a shooting in Muskegon Tuesday evening.

Police said officers originally responded to a shots fired call in the 800 block of W Laketon Avenue around 9 p.m. No one was found at the scene.

Later that evening, a 17-year-old boy was found walking in the area with a gunshot wound. Two others—a 15-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man—later arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police say all three are expected to survive.

Investigation showed that the three victims were at the original scene of the shooting. It is believed that it was a targeted shooting.

The victims are not cooperating with the investigation, police say.
