MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon firefighters worked to put out a fire at a home near the courthouse on Monday.
Firefighters on scene told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that it is a "huge" home. Nobody was hurt in the fire, and officials said nobody was inside the home when it happened.
Officials on scene also said the damage was so bad they suspect the home will need to be torn down.
Police were also called to the scene to help as multiple vehicles were driving over the fire hose.
Driving over a fire hose can be extremely dangerous as the water pressure within the hose is so high that a burst in the hose can injure anyone nearby, including those driving over it.
