Nelsons Speed Shop in Greenville to be open for 'limited transactions' on Monday

Phone calls to Nelsons Speed Shop is answered by a recording saying they are "temporarily closed." New signage says they will be back on Monday.

GREENVILLE, Mich. — Nelsons Speed Shop in Greenville will be back open for 'limited transactions,' a sign posted out front says.

The shop sells snowmobiles, ATVs, pontoons, boats and other powersports equipment. They closed Thursday unexpectedly, the Daily News reports.

The Daily News says a manager told them all 32 employees lost their jobs

Three days later, on Saturday, the driveway to the shop was blocked by a gate, and a truck with signage that says "We will be back 9:00 a.m. Monday for limited transactions."

Phone calls are answered by a recording that says the store is "temporarily closed."

Nelsons' owner, Lakeside Motorsports in Mecosta County, also did not answer calls with no option to leave a message. 

Both Lakeside Motorsports and Nelsons Speed Shop posted on Facebook saying that despite online rumors, there is no investigation by the IRS or FBI.
