New hotel now open in Ada

The hotel has 36 rooms and many of them have balcony views of the Thornapple River.

ADA, Mich. — The new Ada Hotel is officially open after a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

The hotel has 36 rooms and many of them have balcony views of the Thornapple River.

Developers said the goal for the hotel was to honor Ada's History.

"There's so much amazing history dating back to the mid to late 1800s and into the early 1900s that we really wanted to bring into this property. And so the curated art collection that exists throughout the hotel pays homage and respect to a lot of the a lot of that rich history from back in the day," said Loren Crandall, CEO of Baton Collective.

Construction of the hotel took three years. If you'd like to learn more or book a stay you can visit their website here.
