(WBIR) New signs on Interstate 75 now direct drivers to exit at Rocky Top instead of Lake City.
The Anderson County town changed its name in June.
The city paid to replace signs, logos and emergency car stickers around town soon after the new name went into effect, but had to work with the Tennessee Department of Transportation to change the interstate signs.
The city's recorder estimated this summer that replacing the TDOT signs would cost the city about $30,000. He said city leaders designated money for the adjustments in the budget.
