WYOMING, Mich. — A person is in the hospital after a fiery crash in Wyoming on Sunday morning.
Police said the driver lost control on 28th Street near Burlingame Avenue in Wyoming and slammed into the pole just after 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said the car eventually caught fire.
The driver was taken to a local hospital for their injuries.
The crash caused wires to fall across the road and Consumers Energy crews are working on getting them fixed and power in the area restored.
The crash shut down both directions of 28th Street for several hours.
