GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — If you are willing to "mustard" up the courage and brave the weather, you can "ketchup" with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile (formerly known as the "Frankmobile", which was even more formerly known as the "Wienermobile") in Grand Rapids this week.
The famous 27-foot-long hot dog will be making two appearances at Grand Rapids grocery stores where you'll have an opportunity to "meat" the drivers.
Drivers "Hammy Sammy" (Sam) and "Sammer Sausage" (Samantha) will be at the locations handing out "Wienermobilia", Wiener Whistles, bacon coupons and showing off the inside of the Wienermobile, weather permitting.
The Wienermobile will be at the Knapp D&W, located at 2022 Apple Orchard Ln in Grand Rapids, on Friday, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
It will make its second stop at Forest Hills Foods, located at 4668 Cascade Rd SE in Grand Rapids, on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
"Relish" in the beauty that is the Wienermobile this Friday and Saturday, but be sure to dress warm so you don't freeze your "buns" off. You can "ketchup" with the weather forecast here.
