OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning after losing control of his bike and crashing in Ottawa County.
The crash happened around 11:45 a.m. in the area of Riley Street and 56th Avenue.
Deputies say a 62-year-old Zeeland Township man was driving eastbound when he lost control of his motorcycle in a curve and left the roadway. He was pinned beneath the motorcycle, deputies say.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Deputies are asking drivers to avoid the area. The investigation into this crash is underway.
