CUTLERVILLE, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead shortly after 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
KCSO responded to the scene, in the area of 68th St. and Creekstone Ln. along with the Cutlerville Fire Department and Life EMS.
Authorities said their initial investigation showed that a white Honda Odyssey driven by a 39-year-old Gaines Twp. woman was driving westbound on 68th St. near Creekstone Ln. when she struck a 44-year-old Kentwood man in the roadway.
Officials said that life-saving measures were attempted at the scene and the man was brought to a nearby hospital, however he died later at the hospital.
The driver of the Honda was not injured in the incident.
