KENTWOOD, Mich. — A pedestrian has died after being hit and killed by a vehicle in Kentwood at 6:51 p.m. Sunday.
According to a release from the Kentwood Police Department, officers were called to a traffic crash at the intersection of 32nd Street and Pheasant Ridge Drive.
When they arrived they attempted lifesaving efforts but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police. No other injuries have been reported.
