WALKER, Mich. — A crash involving a pedestrian and a car partially closed an intersection in Walker for a short time Thursday afternoon, Walker Police said.
The incident happened near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Leonard Street a little before 2 p.m.
Walker Police said a car was traveling northbound on Wilson Avenue just south of Leonard Street when they hit a man walking across the road.
The pedestrian, identified as a man from Walker, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The car's driver wasn't hurt.
Police partially closed Wilson Avenue for a short time after the crash. The road is now completely open.
