WYOMING, Mich — A brand new craft studio opened its doors on Friday in Wyoming and offers a variety of art projects and fun for all ages.
Pinspiration Wyoming is a studio inspired by "pinning" pictures of your favorite crafts and decoration ideas to your profile on the website Pinterest.
Made to inspire everyone's creative genius, the studio offers projects for all skill levels and art forms. Visitors can paint pirate ships, make dream catchers, design a fairy house, or pour acrylic on canvases — to name a few.
Perhaps the messiest—and most popular—option the studio offers is a "Splatter Experience." For this craft, participants can spend an hour in a private "Splatter Room" wearing protective gear and flinging paint on a canvas to take home.
"The best part is you come in, we give you all the stuff to do what you need to do, and then you make your magic and then we clean up after you guys," said owner Kate Siwek.
Siwek said they do take walk-ins but to guarantee your spot reservations can be booked online. The studio offers birthday parties, date packages and group reservations.
"I'm a firm believer that life is short, and you should do things that make you happy and that's what I want to do," Siwek said. "I just want to see people come in here, I want people to have fun with their families and their friends. I want them to come in for girls' nights and bachelorette parties and bridal showers and all things that are happy and fun."
