KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is asking the public for help in gathering information about a suspected fatal hit-and-run on Saturday evening.
Officers said around 10:08 p.m. a passerby told KDPS they saw a body in the road on Mills Street near Oneil Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they said they found a badly injured body and a bicycle nearby.
Police said they believe the incident was a hit-and-run crash.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have passed along Mills Street from Kings Highway to E Michigan Avenue around 10 p.m. to call. They said any observations made could help them determine how the incident happened and who was involved.
