PORTAGE, Mich. — A 4-year-old boy is recovering after being attacked by his family's dogs, according to police.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon at a home in the 1900 block of Pleasant Drive in Portage. Police officers found the boy semi-conscious in the home's living room with "multiple puncture wounds" that had been caused by the family's dogs.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police say he is listed in critical condition.
The Kalamazoo County Animal Control now has the dogs.
