PORTAGE, Mich. — A Kalamazoo woman was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after a school bus rear-ended her.
Portage Public Safety said the chain-reaction crash happened just before 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Milham Avenue and Angling Road.
Police and firefighters said a Portage school bus rear-ended a car stopped at the light on Milham Avenue.
The impact of the initial collision caused another fender-bender with a third vehicle, authorities said.
First responders rushed the driver of the stopped car, a 46-year-old Kalamazoo woman, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the bus had 15 students on board at the time, and authorities said three students were released to their parents at the wreck scene.
