PORTLAND, Mich. — Crews are responding after a fire broke out at a barn in Portland overnight Sunday.
The Portland Area Fire Authority posted on Facebook saying the fire began just before midnight. There are hay bales and equipment inside, according to the post.
Crews are expected to remain on scene into the afternoon. So far, about 33,000 gallons have been used to extinguish the flames.
There are no reports of injuries related to the fire at this time.
Fire departments from several counties are involved in the efforts, according to the Portland Area Fire Authority.
