GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A person is in the hospital with "potentially life-threatening" injuries after being stabbed at what Grand Rapids Police described as a family barbecue early Saturday morning.
GRPD said the stabbing happened at a home in the 900 block of Logan Street SE in Grand Rapids around 2 a.m.
Police said the event lasted into the early hours of the morning when things started getting out of hand and a person was stabbed.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with what officers described as injuries that could be deadly. The suspect was taken into custody.
