ADA, Michigan — It's time to get spooky, Ada! On Friday, Ada Village will be holding their second Pumpkin Prowl event.
Last year, over 7,000 people showed up. Organizers say the family-friendly Halloween outing has something for everyone.
Over 80 businesses will be participating in trick-or-treating along River Street and throughout the village.
There will be a social district, live music, pumpkin treats and photo opportunities along with a haunted passage and a movie in Legacy Park.
Everyone who plans to attend is encouraged to dress up and enjoy the spooky outing.
"One of our favorite things about pumpkin prowl is just seeing all the families come out the kids dressed up last year, there were some people that had their dogs dressed up. So it's just amazing to see that energy and seeing people have a great time," said Kim Rantala, executive director of the Ada Business Association.
The event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. A dance performance is planned for 5:45 p.m. River Street will be closed to traffic for trick-or-treating.
