GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Salvation Army is looking for donations of gently used clothes and household goods to help support those in their Adult Rehabilitation Program.
The program takes place over 180 days and helps people in need get back on their feet through emotional, social and spiritual guidance. All donations to Salvation Army go toward the provisions for people in the program.
Since there is no government funding for the free program, donations from the community are crucial.
Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the following stores:
- 3900 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321
- 4160 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525
