KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A man is dead after crashing into a tree early Saturday morning, according to the Kent County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said just after 7 a.m. they responded to a crash in Vergennes Township.
KCSO said the primary investigation shows that an 18-year-old from Saranac was driving a 1994 Chevy pickup truck on Flat River Drive near Vergennes Avenue when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
Deputies said the man died in the crash. He was the only person in the vehicle.
