BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Two semi-truck drivers told police they were shot at while they were driving eastbound on I-94 near Battle Creek Wednesday night.

Battle Creek Police got the call around 9:30 p.m. The drivers told police they had been driving side by side on the highway when an older-looking black Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra, standard cab with trash in the truck bed, passed them on the right shoulder of the roadway.

After the vehicle passed the two trucks, the two semi-truck drivers saw the driver of the black vehicle put his arm out the window of the car with a gun in his hand. Both drivers ducked, and said they heard one gunshot.

After looking back up, they watched the black car continue eastbound on I-94.

No injuries were reported during the incident and no damage was found on either truck or their trailers.

Police believe it was an isolated incident.
